Chemistry? NO!

In science class I read my home work page 34-38 in my Biology textbook. The chapter was about atoms. The main focus was on the subatomic particles. The subatomic particles in the atoms are the Protons, Neutrons, and the electrons. To begin to explain what each of these things are, I have to start with the basics. First of all an atom is the main building block in everything, and is also the smallest thing on earth (besides its subatomic particles). It is so small, you can't even see it with a microscope. the atom has a nucleus witch inside the nucleus are the Protons and neutrons.
Protons have a positive charge, and neutrons have no charge. Neutrons are what separate protons from each other. electrons are negative charged particles that orbit around the nucleus. The protons with the neutrons create a connection like a magnet to each other which keeps the electrons rotating around the center.
I know what your thinking, "You read this out of a Biology book? This is chemistry". Yes, what you just thought is true, but chemistry and Biology are both alike in so many ways. For example, In chemistry we study atoms, but we also study atoms in Biology because atoms make up everything including living things! Elements make up living things too. You can see Chemistry in Biology because they are both about the natural world.
Wow this was really informative! I agree with your thoughts about the whole bio and chem thing! Keep up the great posting!
