Short Stories

        I've been reading three short stories and annotating them to see which ones are good enough for a literary analysis. I read Sniper, Sucker, and Araby. So far I've been thinking that Sucker and Araby are the best two to write an analysis on, because they have clear themes and make sense to me. Although Sniper was a good story, it seems too short and the timing in the book is not long enough to write about. I am really looking more at Sucker than Araby, because I don't fully understand Araby. Why did he see himself as a vain monster in the end? I have no idea. Sucker seemed more clear than the other ones. 

      I don't want it to be too clear, because then all the themes to use in the thesis would be obvious choices to do. That's the main problem I've had. In Sucker I noticed that the way Pete treated Sucker was the way Maybelle treated Pete. I think that that is too clear to be an analysis. Plus the story is too clear to write an analysis on anyways. I' stuck and I have no Idea on what to write that on.
