No Air - Jordan Sparks/ Chris Brown
I've read two in a half hours reading articles for biology and my book AllegiantThe song that I chose to annotate is "No Air" By Chris Brown and Jordan sparks. At the beginning of the song there is a slant rhyme with the words "wake" and "away", "If I should die before I wake
It's 'cause you took my breath away". Which doesn't fully rhyme, but fits because they sound similar to where they fit in the song almost as a rhyme. they also do this in the second verse with "leave" and "Incomplete". "I'm here alone, didn't wanna leave, My heart won't move, it's incomplete".
Another effect used in this song are the euphony in the bridge to show they want and love in the song, "But how do you expect me, To live alone with just me?, 'Cause my world revolves around you, It's so hard for me to breathe". Also they repeat the words "No Air" many times In the song to emphasize the feeling of no air in the different ways they sing it. It repeats at least five times after every chorus and the end of the song.
