Last week there was a huge Raccoon in my backyard. It was giant with huge teeth and a white belly that was furry. My cat saw this animal and started hissing at it and the raccoon never went away. It kept coming closer to the house and ended up reaching the patio. My brother and I were the only ones home, and he was in his room doing homework while I was standing at a window watching an animal fight about to go down. Eventually my cat ran away and she saw me (my cat) watching the raccoon from inside. She was meowing at me to let her in, but do you honestly think I was going to open the door with a huge raccoon nearly six feet away from the door? No, I wasn't my cat did a cute little leap thing with both of her claws out and sprung into the air to scare the raccoon a bit, then she ran into a bush and hid.
Lucky me, the raccoon was still there. I was banging at the door trying to scare it off but it kept coming closer to the house. I thought, "what a stupid animal for not running off" but I then realized it wanted my cat's food. So after I came to m senses I went to get my brother and told him that there was a raccoon in the yard. He came out with his gun and shot it, but it didn't die. It hobbled off into the woods with a bleeding leg. That was the last time that raccoon is coming to our house!
I love the tone of voice this has. I can imagine your voice saying it.
ReplyDeleteI saw a raccoon at a plantation and it scared me so much! It was eating dog food and ran right towards me! I ran for my life.
Hey Maddie, I really liked your post, because I could relate to it. One time I had a raccoon in my backyard my dog kept barking at it. I wonder why your cat didn't do anything to make it stop.
