I'm still reading the same book, North of Beautiful by Justina Chen. Well, so far Terra got her letter back from the college and she got in, but her dad won't let her go, and she got her wine-port stain removed from her face surgically. What I've noticed throughout the book is that her dad doesn't care about her opinion and he also doesn't care about her mother. Her mom is over weight and her dad is mean and makes fun of her mom for it until she cries, or tries to lose it (which she doesn't). Her parents are always fighting, and I bet they are going to break-up. Also Terra's boyfriend doesn't seem to care about Terra as much as he does how she looks. When she was thinking about getting the stain removed from her face he was like, "Why don't you want to get it removed it would totally save your makeup and appearance!" I'm not sure if he said that in a mean way or a supporting way, but it seemed rude. I hope Terra can make it through all her life's troubles.
I read the Norton book for 65 minutes, and spend 109 minutes on my book.
