I was looking in Barnes and Noble and I saw the book, Al Capone does my Shirts (I forgot the authors name) and I started to read a little bit of it. It seemed interesting but bot like a book I would read. I'm not sure if I want to read it either. It is about a boy named Moose and he moves to Alcatraz (an old island prison) in the 1935's. He moves because his dad got a job their and Moose has to go to school there and meet new kids. I read to where they just got to Alcatraz, so I don't really know much about it. It's definitely a boy book, no doubt about it. If you would like to argue with that statement here are things I would consider. First of all it's about a boy who moves to a prison island (both things apply to guys). Second of all it is an adventure story about a boy on an island who wants to meet prisoners (which seems to be the main point of the book). I'm not saying that a girl can't read it, I'm just saying it is more likely for a  boy to pick it up and read it than a girl. I know what your thinking, I am a girl and I did read some of it, so I do recommend this book to both genders because it seems cool and interesting! Just because it seems like a boy book doesn't mean a girl can't read it!
